UJIMA (Collective Work and Responsibility)
-To build and maintain our community together and make our brother’s and sister’s problems our problems and to solve them together.
This evening we talked about how important it is to identify your community and those who share your values. All communities are not the same and are as unique as families. Our sons emphasized the importance of knowing your own gifts and strengths so that your know how you can best benefit your community. They also mentioned the importance in seeking to find balance between people and the environment, while remembering the first work begins at home in the nuclear family and then spreads abroad.
